You can choose either one week or two weeks within these dates.
5 - 19 July
One or two week course
We offer you two different courses based on the extensive
training and lifelong learning our therapist. The
courses have been chosen for their level of interest
and ease of use. They are non-intrusive so you will
not need to remove clothing. They both work with the
Chi or Qi energy.
One course looks at energy work from an ancient
Chinese perspective and the other from an ancient
Indian perspective.
You are welcome to attend either one course or the
other, or if you prefer you can attend both weeks
as they do complement each other.
Week one course
On this course you will learn how the Chinese approach
of using the five-element theory to create balance
and harmony will support your well being.
You will be introduced to acupressure points, learn
a little about the flow of energy through our bodies
(as used in acupuncture), and have opportunity to
try out new techniques on yourself and other course
attendees.
Physical and emotional ill health, including stress-related
illnesses are all too common. If you want to change
how you deal with these problems, then this course
that will give you many of the solutions.
The course will show you the best way to help yourself
and your family/friends.
Week two course
This week will focus on therapeutic touch and the
chakra energy system.
Therapeutic touch
This is a therapy of placing your hands at various
points on the body. It is a healing therapy developed
by a professor of nursing in America and is now integrated
into their nurse training. It is works in a similar
way to Reiki in this workshop we will integrate therapeutic
touch with chakra energy.
Chakra
You will learn about chakra energy flow, how
to identify blocks in your own energy flow and how
to balance these subtle energy blocks. If you have
gemstones/crystals that you would like to use in this
therapy please bring them with you.
